Technical Engineer honey money

While ensuring the safety of the bees is paramount, the bees' presence does give the owners an extra money-making avenue.

The bees have left behind a large amount of honey residue, which Jake hopes can be bottled and sold as Leyton Engineer Honey.

He added: 'It would be really nice to have some actual home-grown honey in the middle of London. I hope we can make that work with what we've got left.'

Talk about an unlikely source of bringing in the bees!

Unlikely to happen. My wife keeps bees and there are all sorts of hoops to jump through at all stages, so accidental honey won’t be sellable

I hope the bees were looked after and transferred safely to their new hives.
