1) Any Orient fan could name such a game.spen666 wrote: ↑Mon Apr 22, 2019 11:55 amCreamofSumYungGai wrote: ↑Mon Apr 22, 2019 7:19 am1) Orient fans will remember away games in the past when demand for tickets outweighed supply.
2) Too little too late, that’s exactly my point.
1. So you can't name a league game where demand has exceeded supply to same extent this one did.
2. You can't suggest anything the club could have done better ?
Face it you just want to whinge and have no workable solutions
2) Yes, I can. The ticket stubs should have been requested from games such as barrow and Hartlepool away. But the club didn’t have the foresight to see this coming. It’s criminal that some fans who attended games such as those weren’t prioritised.

Re: 3pm Monday 22 April...
Relatively happy I didn’t get a ticket in the end. About 100 quid better off, saved myself time travelling, was a crap game, didn’t get promoted but pretty much did the job.
I’m a liar but I’m telling myself that any way

Surely Fans should have had the foresight to look at there Diaries & make sure they were available to queue from 7am on the Saturday morning.CreamofSumYungGai wrote: ↑Mon Apr 22, 2019 9:49 pm1) Any Orient fan could name such a game.spen666 wrote: ↑Mon Apr 22, 2019 11:55 amCreamofSumYungGai wrote: ↑Mon Apr 22, 2019 7:19 am

My days of home and away are over so no way I was going anyway, just a bit upset for those who should have been there but weren’t. Especially when you see so many empty seats around the ground and the likes of Kent in our end when his ticket could have gone to a fan.

Think most people know there hadn't been such a game, hence your bring do evasive to name such a game.

1) You’re embarassing yourself now. Again. Every Orient fan reading this drivel will remember such games. If you can’t, maybe you shouldn’t go around making such bold statements.
2) You’ve not made any reference to my proposed solution.

So name just one of those games I stead of all this prevarication.
If it's so easy, name just one game
Oh and I will deal with your proposal after you have provided an answer to the first question.

Spen666 is an annoying turd.
And I don't need to provide examples or evidence for this since he does this quite capably on his own

I know and the best policy is not to bite but sometimes it’s impossible.
Brighton is an example, by the way.

This one dear Spen .
How do i know ?
Because me & my dad had to sit in with the Home support as did his 2 friends .
There was an O's fan who reminded me a bit of Phil Lynott & his mate sat quite near us as well.
So there are six , quite a few more were dotted around different parts of the ground .
We only had 3, 000 tickets for the biggest game in our history & they sold out pretty quick.
So The Old man had to ring some one back in Belfast & 4 tickets were left at the gate courtesy of
1 Jim Platt.
Do I win a prize Spenny ?

You certainly do win a prize.
A prize for stupidity and ignorance.
My question specifically stated away league games and after all your insults, bluster and prevarication you come up with an FA Cup tie n answer o a question about league games
Since when has an FA Cup tie been an away league game?
Now, let's try again

How does an FA Cup tie answer a question that specified an away LEAGUE gameCreamofSumYungGai wrote: ↑Wed Apr 24, 2019 7:02 am I’ve already told you, Brighton, loads of times.

Dagenham away sold out this year - and has been in previous years including when in the league
Wolves away in 2013 sold out as was Brentford I'm sure.
I think we sold out blackpool in the relegation season - appreciate it was a restricted amount due to EFL protest

Re: 3pm Monday 22 April...
Who said an fa cup tie, I’m talking about the league games. We always used to sell out for those and had to implement a voucher scheme whereby tickets were issued at certain far flung away grounds.spen666 wrote: ↑Wed Apr 24, 2019 12:11 pmHow does an FA Cup tie answer a question that specified an away LEAGUE gameCreamofSumYungGai wrote: ↑Wed Apr 24, 2019 7:02 am I’ve already told you, Brighton, loads of times.

Ok Here is the one you hoped didnt get mentioned.
Leeds United away ( 1st time)
1000 tickets given .
Me & mine wanted to go but all tickets had gone .
Thursday before the game who do we see on the 1st tee at Stapleford abbots golf club , but our very own Bazza .
4 tickets in the Directors box at Elland road procured .
Away support demand exceeded successfully.
I suppose you'll say now it doesnt count because blah blah blah.

Re: 3pm Monday 22 April...
Queuing for the 17 tickets we purchased for Solihull seems all the sweeter looking at this thread

Braintree away this season? Sold our allocation and filled up the home bit as well.
