If he was an outfield player he would be sent back or never played again.
Should never be allowed to wear the Orient t shirt ever again, not good enough.
We should be sittingTop half of table on 7 points, instead in 3 games he has cost us all 7 points, and we sit at the bottom With 0 points!
The excuse of a GK, has cost us 7 points!
That could be the diff in relegation to L2, or on a positive note a place in the play offs, and that’s just after 3 games.
Seriously this club cannot allow this GK anywhere near the 1st again.
Never ever have I ever felt so strongly about a player never being allowed to play for us again.
Piggot, Noble we’re absolute toilet, but in their positions, their errors or poor performance, did not lose us games, GK is such an important position, an error can lead to a goal and cost you points.

Yep - I just hope Richie doesn't see the clamour on here to get rid and decide to ignore it, just to prove he's his own man. That would be a massive mistake. Simon Royce has a big part to play in this too, his credibility is seriously in question now.PoundhillO wrote: ↑Sun Aug 25, 2024 8:50 amCouldn’t agree more.RedDwarf 1881 wrote: ↑Sat Aug 24, 2024 11:14 pmThe writing is already on the wall so the club has a week to sort things out before the transfer window closes . Re: Howes over Hemming poll
I'd also add that the fact that this not-very-good-at-all keeper is from Middlesborough, who also provided our previous not-that-good goalkeeper does not suggest to me that our goalkeeper scouting is very extensive, or indeed extends beyond one town in Teesside. Makes me think we took a bit of a lazy option here - "Don't like that keeper, we've another sh*tty one you can try" - surely there must be keepers in this country who could do a job at League 1 level. We just have to get off our arses and look for them.

This is quite obviously the sensible assessment of the situation and yet we have people on here claiming that because the loanee kid is cack Howlers suddenly becomes league 1 material. The board have to accept we have massively ficked this one up. We need a new keeper this week.

Let's be reasonable, unless we get a new keeper in the next week or so, it's going to have to be Howes. I do understand this will mess up your hilarious Howlers gag though.

Re: Howes over Hemming poll
Not saying for one instance that Howes is better than Hemming, but Hemmings current form is on par with Howes and these mistakes Hemmings keeps making are obviously having an affect on him and his teammates. Something needs to change and need to either put Howes in or Philips, even if just while Hemmings gets his head right.

Absolutely mental that standards have been shifted so low that within 2 seasons we’ve gone from Vigs to people genuinely thinking that Howlers is a suitable starting XI gk.

Wellens & Royce have been happy for Howes to start games for LOFC, only you claim he is Howlers for this game
I guarantee you Hemming would have conceded more in that game & Howes wouldn't have made the mistakes against Bolton & Birmingham & might even have saved the goal at Charlton

The fact he is part of a League 1 squad & has been ever present in our named squads suggests that he is a League 1 standard keeper.
Good or Bad we don't know yet.
I'd have him in front of Hemming for the next 2 games though.
