Under no circumstances should Howlers be the long term solution to the Hemmings gaffe
For one (in your opinion) dodgy game v Portsmouth.
He played well against Blackpool keeping a clean sheet, he can't be blamed for the defeat at Wycombe & Nor can he be blamed for an away cup defeat against championship club Plymouth.
You've based your entire hate campaign/argument on 90 minutes at home to Portsmouth & little else.

If Wellens thought Howlers was a league 1 gk we would never have signed Hemmings in the first place.
Now go find another hobby because the row you seem to so desperately want with me really isn’t going to happen.

I trust Roycie.
I think Roycies Trust has been eroded a little & Howes will start the next couple of games as Hemming isn't even competent for a Sunday League club.

Get rid. Three games in for a loan keeper is enough.
Whack Holes in and work furiously on number one target goalkeeper.

The absurdity of this argument is quite amusing really. If Howlers was a league 1 standard GK why the hell are we signing loanee kids (two seasons in a row) to play ahead of him?

Don’t think he actually had a shot to save today and yet we’ve somehow lost 1-2Rich Tea Wellin wrote: ↑Sat Aug 24, 2024 4:24 pm He obviously can’t actually be as bad as he’s looked so far but he has looked awful. You can’t afford to give teams goals, especially Bolton and Birmingham. The lack of confidence will spread throughout the team. I’d be tempted to give up at this point whilst the window is still open for a few days
God knows if he would have saved any decent shots today

Possibly because coaches look down there noses at players who come from non league , when there are keepers kicking about in the championship u23s & reserve sides.
Personally I'd give Sam Howes a crack at it until January.
He'll do far better for us than Hemming will.

The question is “is either Hemmings or Howlers league 1 quality?”
To which the answer is quite obviously: no

if the club doesn't do anything to correct the keeper problem this week then we'll deserve what we get . Going by the above poll most of us can see there is a problem . Surely the club can as well. We have one week to sort it out before the transfer window closes. The Reverend wrote: ↑Sat Aug 24, 2024 9:16 pmThe question isn’t “is Howlers a better GK than Hemmings?”Brigs wrote: ↑Sat Aug 24, 2024 8:42 pmI have know idea why we've signed loanees. The Reverend wrote: ↑Sat Aug 24, 2024 8:05 pm

Well my point is that we shouldn’t be sticking with either. The club should spend the next week sorting the GK issue as a matter of utmost urgency. However, my suspicion is that they will go the cheap route and try Howlers out for a bit despite him quite obviously being nowhere near good enough either.Brigs wrote: ↑Sat Aug 24, 2024 9:24 pmHowes has played a few games at League 1 & hasn't been close to being as bad as Hemming. The Reverend wrote: ↑Sat Aug 24, 2024 9:16 pmThe question isn’t “is Howlers a better GK than Hemmings?”Brigs wrote: ↑Sat Aug 24, 2024 8:42 pm

It is possible for both this to be true and for Howlers to also be absolutely nowhere near league 1 level. Hence why I think we absolutely need a new gk asap
Hemming can not be anywhere near.
If we get someone else it won't be before saturday
Under no circumstances should Howlers be the long term solution to the Hemmings gaffe

don't know who tuffers is, but I did read some of his stuff. Thought he was you in disguise to be honest.
Small thing is something me & some of my old regiment friends used to use when someone thought they were clever, but the brains were just the same size as everyone else's.
It's kind of a combat joke. The ones who thought they had the biggest brains were usually the ones in the way of an enemy Bullet.
