4 games, 4 errors causing goals against. Can't afford to risk this continuing, get a replacement in

He obviously can’t actually be as bad as he’s looked so far but he has looked awful. You can’t afford to give teams goals, especially Bolton and Birmingham. The lack of confidence will spread throughout the team. I’d be tempted to give up at this point whilst the window is still open for a few days

No point in sending him back unless someone league 1 standard is bought in

Agree should bring in L1 standard, but I don’t think Howes can be any worse, in fact I think he would be a substantial improvement. The Reverend wrote: ↑Sat Aug 24, 2024 5:29 pm No point in sending him back unless someone league 1 standard is bought in

Re: Keep Hemming or send him back? VOTE POLL
Didn’t he do ok up at Blackpool, his last match in the league for us in that run before Sol was fit. I don’t think he plumbed the depths that Hemming has, but would prefer a new keeper. But failing that Howes has to be a better option than Hemming. The Reverend wrote: ↑Sat Aug 24, 2024 5:42 pmNah, he’s cack as well.PKM wrote: ↑Sat Aug 24, 2024 5:36 pmAgree should bring in L1 standard, but I don’t think Howes can be any worse, in fact I think he would be a substantial improvement. The Reverend wrote: ↑Sat Aug 24, 2024 5:29 pm No point in sending him back unless someone league 1 standard is bought in

Re: Keep Hemming or send him back? VOTE POLL
Just because he may be better than Hemmings that doesn’t mean he should be anywhere near the starting line up of a league 1 team.PKM wrote: ↑Sat Aug 24, 2024 5:46 pmDidn’t he do ok up at Blackpool, his last match in the league for us in that run before Sol was fit. Re: Keep Hemming or send him back? VOTE POLL
It is possible for both this to be true and for Howlers to also be absolutely nowhere near league 1 level. Hence why I think we absolutely need a new gk asapBrigs wrote: ↑Sat Aug 24, 2024 6:16 pmHemming should not start another game for us.The Reverend wrote: ↑Sat Aug 24, 2024 5:29 pm No point in sending him back unless someone league 1 standard is bought in

Re: Keep Hemming or send him back? VOTE POLL
I think League One standard goes out the window, Hemming might be League One standard but it's the mistakes and right now he is making too many of them, Howes or an other needs a run

I’m not against sticking Howlers in goal against Millwall providing someone else is coming in before the window closes.Brigs wrote: ↑Sat Aug 24, 2024 6:31 pmWe have a game Tuesday & another next Saturday. The Reverend wrote: ↑Sat Aug 24, 2024 6:29 pmIt is possible for both this to be true and for Howlers to also be absolutely nowhere near league 1 level. Under no circumstances should Howlers be the long term solution to the Hemmings gaffe

For one (in your opinion) dodgy game v Portsmouth.
He played well against Blackpool keeping a clean sheet, he can't be blamed for the defeat at Wycombe & Nor can he be blamed for an away cup defeat against championship club Plymouth.
You've based your entire hate campaign/argument on 90 minutes at home to Portsmouth & little else.
