Spotted having lunch in Figo today, in a 6 man group.
Make of that what you will.

Taking valuable income away from the Club, disgusting. One rule for them, another for everyone else.

No game yesterday, therefore caterers weren't inProposition Joe wrote: ↑Sat Aug 24, 2024 8:53 am Taking valuable income away from the Club, disgusting. One rule for them, another for everyone else.

Re: Nigel Travis and Mark Devlin
So he deliberately scheduled a meeting when he didn’t have to use the club’s catering?

I’ve always been an advocate of the ‘do as I say, don’t do as I do’ authoritarian directive in life.

I don't normally drink at the ground, but today I had a pint of that Shepherd Neame lager. Not up to much, is it ?

Re: Nigel Travis and Mark Devlin
It was £5.80 for the one I had. That's premium lager prices in somewhere like The Northcote. For comparison you can get a pint of Amstel in The Fox & Hounds in Forest Gate for £3.85, or if you want to go crazy, The Blakesley Arms in Manor Park will serve you up a pint of Stella for £4.95.BiggsyMalone wrote: ↑Sat Aug 24, 2024 6:50 pmI tried the helles one they did, it was fine. £6.80 a pint is an absolute piss take though.mildandbitter wrote: ↑Sat Aug 24, 2024 6:44 pm I don't normally drink at the ground, but today I had a pint of that Shepherd Neame lager. You’re right, I misread it. Give it a couple of months when they can’t be f*cked looking after the pipes properly, and it will taste worsemildandbitter wrote: ↑Sat Aug 24, 2024 7:03 pmIt was £5.80 for the one I had. I read that as the Oyster bar and imagined guys walking around in leather clothes , with peaked leather caps and magnum moustaches!Rich Tea Wellin wrote: ↑Sat Aug 24, 2024 7:10 pm I paid £7.45 for a pint of Camden Hells in the Oyster Shed on Thursday
