Re: Sol Brynn
What theory was that. Hemmings is a year older, so was ahead of Brynn. Sol showed progression from last season & is now Boros number 2, Hemmimg isn't.

Kept a clean sheet, but I happened to tune in to the last 10 mins of the game where Solomon came flying out attempting to punch a cross, completely flapped at it and somehow the Leeds bloke missed an open goal.

Yes, I saw that as well . He totally missed the cross which reminded me of last season . Incidentally the only reason why he kept a clean sheet tonight was because he had virtually nothing to doThe Reverend wrote: ↑Wed Aug 14, 2024 10:17 pm Kept a clean sheet, but I happened to tune in to the last 10 mins of the game where Solomon came flying out attempting to punch a cross, completely flapped at it and somehow the Leeds bloke missed an open goal.

Re: Sol Brynn
Byrnn was pretty solid for us, finished the season badly but I didn't understand the criticism he got. Has plenty of potential and pretty decent with his feet for a lower league keeper.

Dunno about #2 as he was not even in the squad for their league game - but he was their #1 last night. Good luck to him.Rubex Kube wrote: ↑Wed Aug 14, 2024 9:34 pm What theory was that. Re: Sol Brynn
You only have to watch football league highlights to see plenty of rickets and clangers from goalkeepers, some are deluded if they expect a goalkeeper to be faultless. Brynn was generally sound and a more than capable league 1 keeper. Anyone wanting Brynn gone has now got what they wished for.Mistadobalina wrote: ↑Thu Aug 15, 2024 9:28 am Byrnn was pretty solid for us, finished the season badly but I didn't understand the criticism he got. Re: Sol Brynn
Agreed Brynn was a decent keeper prone to the odd mistake and I would have been happy to keep him.Chelmsford Swimmer wrote: ↑Thu Aug 15, 2024 1:53 pmYou only have to watch football league highlights to see plenty of rickets and clangers from goalkeepers, some are deluded if they expect a goalkeeper to be faultless. They all make the odd mistake
Hemmings on the other hand hasn’t impressed so far at all

Re: Sol Brynn
Exactly . All keepers make mistakes so nobody is expecting perfection but so far Hemming isn't cutting it . That's not to say he can't improve so fingers crossed he plays well for us on Saturday . We're still only two games into the new season so he deserves more time yet to settle down . I only hope he can do so ASAP.Cheshunto wrote: ↑Thu Aug 15, 2024 2:03 pmAgreed Brynn was a decent keeper prone to the odd mistake and I would have been happy to keep him.Chelmsford Swimmer wrote: ↑Thu Aug 15, 2024 1:53 pmYou only have to watch football league highlights to see plenty of rickets and clangers from goalkeepers, some are deluded if they expect a goalkeeper to be faultless.
