Re: Moncur off
Wellens was deliberately arch in revealing that Moncur's injury occurred in training yesterday, I.e. it wasn't responsible for him not being in the squad for the Bolton game.

Re: Moncur off
I think it's becoming clear that the 2 or 3 players that RW wants to bring in are pending moving GM on, and getting a decent enough loan deal to free up enough funds. It's probably not realistic to expect a permanent deal with another club taking on the full wages.

Re: Moncur off
How can RW pick Moncur? He’s publicly stated that Moncur hasn’t shown the correct attitude in preseason. We have Warrington and Pratley who need minutes. There’s no way he can play Moncur injured or not. This situation needs to be resolved quickly.

Last nights response was probably "the official line" whereas you are more likely to be correct. Others within his squad take priority. George's next run out, should he be here, will be in the nobody cares cup.

Re: Moncur off
A deal was agreed the other week but wages were the big stumbling block, other big issue too is Moncur if moving full time will want x year deal, teams only want him on a year loan ala the Piggott deal
As we get closer to the window closing it becomes more likely Orient blink and pay a percentage, the other club think sod it and pay the wages and Moncur jumps too, it's all a game of chess at the minute

It also looked like he had think on his feet and make up an injuryLittleMate wrote: ↑Wed Aug 14, 2024 11:48 amLast nights response was probably "the official line" whereas you are more likely to be correct. Re: Moncur off
Yeah , possibly but I read on here something about him needing to lose some weight before the club would allow him play again . I have no idea if that's true or notBiggsyMalone wrote: ↑Wed Aug 14, 2024 12:39 pmIt also looked like he had think on his feet and make up an injuryLittleMate wrote: ↑Wed Aug 14, 2024 11:48 amLast nights response was probably "the official line" whereas you are more likely to be correct.
