Re: Music on phones
What music?
You could get an app for radio stations like bbc sounds or listen to music on something like Spotify or amazon music.
These will use your data from your phone tarrif when you're out and about

I don't use it. Am i right in thinking it will play slightly random stuff based on what you like? You can't choose exactly what it plays unless you pay?

I dunno. I’ve always paid. I thought you could pick but it would play ads every few songs.Long slender neck wrote: ↑Fri Aug 09, 2024 9:37 pm I don't use it. Am i right in thinking it will play slightly random stuff based on what you like? You can't choose exactly what it plays unless you pay?
Tenner a month for basically every album you could want is decent

Re: Music on phones
I think Spotify has ads and maybe restricts ability to skip.
As RTW says though, a tenner a month is well worth it.
If you want to be really cheap, YouTube has full albums but you’ll need to leave your screen on YouTube unless you subscribe there, too.
But Spotify really is good value for the customer, it’s the artists who get a bad deal

Re: Music on phones
I have Spotify. You can download when connected to WiFi and then listen whenever you please.
If you do choose to stream music using your phone data, then you most certainly can skip stuff you don't like and there's no adverts either.
You can use it to access music, podcasts, and audio books.

With a paid subscription.
You can listen for free but I believe you get adverts and a limited number of skips?

Re: Music on phones
Should also have said that it’s worth subscribing - Spotify is really good value for the consumer, you pretty much never have to buy an album again.
It’s the musicians who they screw over.

Yeah, but you can usually find a way to reclaim your subscription cost through expenses.
