Re: RW podcast
Same applies to the striker (Agyei and Kelman are first choices).
And I'm happy with any 2 of the current 3 full backs starting.

Hope you are correct about Warrington but we need to see him play at least 6 games in Division One this coming season before we rush to judgements as to how good he is, let us hope for the best with this young player.Hoover Attack wrote: ↑Sun Aug 04, 2024 11:46 amLast seasons best midfield was Brown - El Miz - Galbraith (not that we saw it much). The current best midfield is Brown - Warrington - Galbraith. Brown continues to develop and is a better player than he was 12 months ago. Galbraith looks to be more settled and ready to show everyone his undoubted quality. Warrington looks like he will be a more than adequate replacement for El Miz in no time.
Yes, we need more depth. No, we don't need a first choice midfielder.

Re: RW podcast
On question number 2, Hunt is a better LB than Sweeney so why did we let Hunt go if we wasn't going to replace him ?Monkey Boy wrote: ↑Wed Jul 31, 2024 11:09 pm Some interesting questions not sure about the answers.
1)Q was Kelman our number one striker in January window?
A no he wasn’t.
Me)So why bring him in now?
2)Q does the new guy from Wigan play left or right back?
A right back. We will give Sweeney a chance.
Me) So why haven’t we got a decent left back in and good luck with Sweeney he isn’t good enough imo.
3) Q was GM going to be sold?
A yes but they didn’t offer enough on the loan.
4)Q are we bringing in another striker?
A no not really more interested in a number 8
Me) what’s wrong with the lad at Colchester, got a feeling GM put a stop to that?
5) Q)what other players would you like?
A would like to bring in a left footed right winger to play on the right
Me) here’s an idea bring in a left winger and play him on the right even better find a professional footballer that can actually use both feet
Give it a listen but to me some of his answers didn’t make much sense

He’s on a downward trajectory and Sweeney is on an upward trajectory.
Sweeney is cheaper.

Re: RW podcast
That's what I originally thought but Clare is going to play RB. It's looking like we will have Sweeney at LB who struggled to get into the squad last season .

Re: RW podcast
An in form TJ is very difficult to leave out. I still think we will see him in the side either as a left back or further forward on the right. It’s good that RW has a selection problem.
