Yep I know
That's what you and Bolton are expecting, it's a pre-season red herring ,we will bulldoze through them down the middle.

Trust me, I’d be delighted for that to happen but I’m being realistic.Rubex Kube wrote: ↑Mon Aug 05, 2024 7:34 pmCant wait to see how positive you become when weve taken 8 wins from 10 & sit top with 25 points

DJ will not start. Not fit enough and is not ingrained enough in RW's system - he will be an impact sub.

Problem is we don’t have enough bodies in the middle of the park. ONeill tried playing as an 8 and it didn’t work. He hasn’t been tried as the 10, as far as I’m aware.

From what I've seen of him I don't think he'll make much of an impactLittleMate wrote: ↑Wed Aug 07, 2024 9:08 am DJ will not start. Not fit enough and is not ingrained enough in RW's system - he will be an impact sub.
I fear this season will be a struggle with the current squad

Re: Team for Bolton
Normally at the beginning of a season I get that feeling of anticipation that we can do well . This season I haven't got it . League One is going to be tougher than last season and now we have a weaker squad . I would take a mid table finish right now with both hands .BIGRON wrote: ↑Wed Aug 07, 2024 9:36 amFrom what I've seen of him I don't think he'll make much of an impactLittleMate wrote: ↑Wed Aug 07, 2024 9:08 am DJ will not start. I think there is the potential for are several improvers within last seasons squad. Brown, Galbraith, Obiero and O'Neill to name 4. Nobody has seen Warrington play for real yet and if we can get Jordan Brown on the pitch for more than half a season then the sum of all of this will be the same position as last year. I'd be surprised if we flirt with the play offs like we did last year - but if we do then it will be all credit to Wellens and the other coaches.

Re: Team for Bolton
I'd be happy with a 5th from bottom finish
Our squad depth is poor, and a few injuries and suspensions will see us very weak.
I'm surprised the club has allowed the squad to get so weak.

He didn’t take part in the training at yesterdays Family Day, but hopefully he will be ok for Saturday
He moved down the touchline yesterday signing autographs without getting injured

Re: Team for Bolton
Bit surprised with some of the negativity before we've even started.
In my opinion Kellman over a season will eclipse Sotiriou's efforts of the last campaign. Add to this Obiero's emergence,Galbraith able to play 10 or at least further forward all season Agyei fit from the start O'Neil to carry on where he left off: I'm backing Jaiyesimi to contribute as much or more than Forde and Brown has a whole L1 season under his belt .Excited about seeing Graham and Agyei on the same pitch. If Warrington comes near to expectations and Clare who sertainly looks more dynamic than Hunt we will see them as two good signings .Hemming already looks to have more presence than Bryne, and not to forget we have 4 decent CBs.Perkins must give us more over a season than Piggot and Theo to come back strong in the new year .We have good continuity and a settled management team.
Let's have a bit less doom and gloom.

Mostly agreed with this. (At least until the injuries hit).Leger Ritson wrote: ↑Wed Aug 07, 2024 2:09 pm Bit surprised with some of the negativity before we've even started.
