He seemed a bit of an oddball from the get go but hadn't realised he was a failed candidate for the West Midlands Mayoralty and podcaster (with a history of platforming/failing to call out pretty dubious opinions from guests/co-hosts). Sounds like a grifter.

The problem was started by one of the assailants resisting arrest. The situation then got out of hand as some members of both parties lost their tempers.

Certain jobs attract certain sorts of people. Often they have qualities that make them quite suitable for the job at times ( like the ability to stick the boot in ). Often these talents are totally inappropriate. Then there are the Weirdo chancers, who know that sticking on a uniform, makes them have an advantage over women. It must be fairly difficult sifting out the wrong 'uns; but some Police Forces have a p-ss poor track record of that.

You are of course right. The intention of my thread was to display the utter corruption and danger to the public the Met represents and to get others to help in posting it on the MB of a Div3 soccer club to raise public awareness.

My worry is that we have only seen the tip of the iceberg.

Top Labour politicians have been accused of pressing police to give Taylor Swift a royalty-style blue-light escort to Wembley. Cops were reluctant to grant her the VVIP service — which comes at a huge expense to the taxpayer.

Not followed this one. Any idea why hes tried to drive off / ram vehicles? Bbc says his car was linked to a shooting but doesn't say any more than that.
