Re: Olympique De Paris
Seems like there’s been a few hiccups in the run up with the trains f*cked, Olympic village running out of food and the IOC giving a pass to the entire Chinese swimming team doping

Good that they've cleared the area of those pesky homeless/migrants so that the bureacrats can enjoy their ego trip in peace whilst the rest of Paris is a badly-run latrine.Currywurst and Chips wrote: ↑Fri Jul 26, 2024 11:27 am Seems like there’s been a few hiccups in the run up with the trains f*cked, Olympic village running out of food and the IOC giving a pass to the entire Chinese swimming team doping

Re: Olympique De Paris
It's being reported that the train f*ck ups are due to coordinated arson attacks on rail infrastructure. But nobody has yet claimed responsibility.

Also, anybody know how Liz Truss's first day as a train driver on the French railways is going?

Watching the opening ceremony. I think it would be fair to say that, so far, this is more camp than Eurovision.

So far it's been sh*t. Not a patch on Beijing or London. This bit with the chords of La Marseillaise and the golden statues of historical French wimmin is a bit more like it. They need to up their game.

Back to the f*cking boats.
Can't the GB boat sink the Spanish boat just to liven things up a bit?

The laser show was decent. But having the Olympic flag upside down was perfect.

Re: Olympique De Paris
Anyone actually interested in watching the sporty stuff? Can't say I'm bothered, but would probably watch a bit of the cycling if it coincides with my normal telly viewing time
