Seemed to like Happe and Beckles when they went 5 matches without conceding at the beginning of the year. I would be surprised If Happe doesn't start.

Happe and Simpson are the players capable of playing the ball out of defence, Beckles and Cooper are the players that can handle the physical stuff. If all fit, it'll be one of the first two, one of the second two. Simpson looked quality on the ball but didn't play many games so hard to tell how good a defender he'll be.

For what it's worth, I reckon he'll start with Happe and Beckles but can see Becks dropping out after his first brainfart 2 or 3 games in. Simpson is by far the best on the ball but looked slow last season (understandably) and not as strong and commanding as someone his size should be.

It's a lovely problem to have.

Someone mentioned wingbacks were used the other night to get Kelman in the starting team with Agyei. That may be the way to go with the players available to us...

Calm down dear. I don’t care about what foot they use but in the past Richie has said he likes a left footer and a right footer at CB and who he’s played/bought in confirms that.
