Two more signings.....
Close to being done according to RW tonight, although Ling apparently has Covid but it should not slow things down.

Re: Two more signings.....
I just can't see us bringing in another forward with Kelman and Perkins signed. I don't have a huge amount of faith in Howes, Sweeney and James, would love to see us sign first team players in all their positions rather than bench options

A rough tough young number 9 type of Alan Shearer in the making would do nicely !

Re: Two more signings.....
Dan Agyei looked excellent tonight, scoring 4 I think, although it was only non league opposition, however if he gets injured we are fcuked. Kelman worked hard but didn’t look like scoring.

On the evidence of last season Joe Pigott is not a league one standard striker . It's debatable if whether he's even league two standard

Re: Two more signings.....
I’ve only seen 45 minutes on the stream but Perkins ain’t anywhere near ready to lead the line.
I have way more faith in James and Sweeney than I do in Kelman.

Re: Two more signings.....
Kellman did ok tonight & linked up pretty well with Agyei
Need to give him time & I'm sure if Ritchie plays the two above upfront & they get on the crosses from O'Neil from the left & Graham when fit on the right we will have a dangerous forward line.
Ritchie has faith in Kellman so we should get behind him.
I know tonight was only a friendly but these games are for trying things out, tonight was a step in the right direction

Re: Two more signings.....
Apologies, must have missed it.
TBF the view from the main stand was awful with so many posts and the dug outs etc in the way. I wouldn’t like to watch football from there on a regular basis.
I’ve heard people complain about our East Stand but it’s fantastic compared to St Albans main stand.

TJ has proved himself more than capable of playing L1 football. I really like Sweeneys athleticism from full back.Adz wrote: ↑Wed Jul 17, 2024 1:29 amYeah, but kelman and perkins aren't in the starting 11Hoover Attack wrote: ↑Tue Jul 16, 2024 11:26 pmI’ve only seen 45 minutes on the stream but Perkins ain’t anywhere near ready to lead the line.

I wouldn't have any concerns if both started in our first game.
