Didnt we do categories last year? They did Cat c last year for a tenner...has that gone?

AA is lol and unnecessary.

£37 quid to rock up on the day and watch Charlton from the east stand is outrageous. With train, food and a drink or two its apporoaching £100 for the day. Makes me laugh that they worry about tv coverage at 3pm on a saturday will hurt crowds rather than selling off the tv rights so they can change kick off at random times then charging almost £40 a ticket.

£37 for a League One match seems more than reasonable given inflation and the fact we’re in London

Congrats to the club for keeping costs down when people are feeling the pinch 👏🏻

A few anomalys in there

U18 save a few quid for Advance purchases if sitting in stands not intended for them, but no saving in the stands more suited to them (North and East)

WOW if I didn't have a season ticket I don't think I would pay those prices.
I get we have to raise cash etc to compete, but some of those cat AA prices are obscene

Wrexham being in the AA category because they have a silly little TV program is properly funny.

Do they really think that people are stupid enough to believe that calling it a AA category game makes it doubly good rather than just using a sensible A/B/C system?

It's about making sure we get maximum revenue out of those bringing big followings.

What's not to like about that?

Jacking the prices up like that will also be a warning to ST holders thinking about downgrading to PAYG.

You can go PAYG as at least 7 games are going to be available via Sky+. These include Bolton, Exeter, Rotherham, Bristol Rovers, Crawley, Cambridge and Barnsley. These are all the games that aren’t 3pm Saturday kick offs.

These prices are alienating the casual and new fans the club are so badly courting.

There is no way a Premier League fan who has become disenfranchised is going to pay £30+ to watch League One football.

I think Walthamstow is still a tenner. I know what I’d rather pay to be able to stand on terracing and enjoy a few cans from the corner shop.

They’ve got this very wrong I fear, especially if we’re on a bad run and the football is poor.

Those prices are shocking. Think they are greatly underestimating the number of day trippers filling the stands on a weekly basis. Big ask for them to be forking out the guts of 40 quid for mid table league 1 football.

They’re banking on a near sell out every week like last season

Also ending the ghost kids loophole will free up a few thousand extra seats

It’s all to do with bringing in these blockbuster signings Ling and the board have been talking about at the end of last season and this. I can see loads of people wanting to watch all those trialists teams don’t want.

TBF you would expect them to have the data on how many day trippers are filling the stands on a weekly basis - so this will be a conscious decision to change their habits (to get more to buy in advance) or squeeze them for more. But I agree it's a risk, especially if we have a ropey season.

that said - the majority of matches are still at similar rates as last season. It's only the "premium" fixtures that they've elected to jack up - and three of them to an extreme degree.

No £10 Cat C matches from last year on evening fixtures also feels like it excludes people on a budget.

My missus likes to come to the odd match and did the two 10 quid ones last season. No way I’m paying £25 for her to sit next to me in the East, as she is a casual fan and enjoys the experience more than the football.

Suspect others won’t go because there isn’t a cheaper option over the course of the season.

Time will tell if these prices drive fans away or not. Nigel Travis said he could sell the ground 3 times over for the Wrexham game such is the demand but I can’t see why?? Just because they have a couple of Hollywood actors as owners .
I think some casual fans may be put off , for example a Dad taking his son to a Cat’A’ game in the JES would have to fork out £63 for the two tickets, plus programme, food and travel, will make some think twice.

Doesn’t bother me as I have a season ticket and will go to most games, but I’m not sure a casual fan will.
