Spain imo are overrated, being over hyped, but let that continue, we want Spain to think all they have to do is turn up and they win.
All Spain have done, is they have just played well, but they are certainly not world beaters.
Yes, Spain have been the best team in the tournament so far, but only because there have been no other stand out teams.
Spain in group stages beat a very poor Italian team and an ageing Croatian team, and Albania, then in knockout games, they beat Georgia, then needed ET to beat Germany and then beat a very poor French team
England, in the group stages were very tentative, but have gathered momentum during knockout games, and are about to peak at the right time v Spain in the final, with La Liga’s player of the season ‘Hey Jude’ scoring the winning goal for Gareth Southgate’s England
So beware Spain, it’s not how you start a tournament, it’s how you finish a tournament that matters.
