Re: Crawley (h) Match / Exiles Thread
Smart save by our ex keeper Glenn Morris early on after JMD gets put in for a shot. Down low but strong right hand pushes it away. Ekpiteta bullet header from the resulting corner goes wide.
Morris then scrambles down again to claim a teasing cross from Dennis, who already looks to have livened up our attack.

Dennis again does two Crawley players all ends up and flashes a ball right across the face of goal. No one on the end of it but great skills. Looking lively.

Goal of the season contender by Wright. Completely in control, knew exactly where that ball was going and curled beautifully into the top corner from outside the box.
1-0 and absolutely deserved. The change in attacking threat is clear as day.

1-1 couldn't clear our lines, ball bounces around inside the box then lashed home, no chance for Brill

Anyone else watching the stream? Mine is screen freezing a lot. My broadband speed seems fine so just wondering if this is a common issue. Thanks

sh*t game. Great goal from Wright. A better manager has these players playing to their potential.

Personally thought we've played well and for a bit of more clinical finishing should be out of sight. Poor goal to concede knocked a bit of momentum out of us. Really impressed by Dennis.BiggsyMalone wrote: ↑Sat Aug 24, 2019 3:53 pm sh*t game. Great goal from Wright. A better manager has these players playing to their potential.
Angol and Wilkinson can't complain about the service they're getting, both had good chances they could've done better with.
Seeing reports of stream issues on Facebook so it seems a common complaint.

Agree. Should be well ahead. Chances have been good ones. No service issues. I thought we played well until their goal. Gone a bit flat. Good HT talk needed.gshaw wrote: ↑Sat Aug 24, 2019 3:56 pmPersonally thought we've played well and for a bit of more clinical finishing should be out of sight. Orient have had more chances but they’ve been sloppy with the ball. Too much long ball rather than playing to Clay and Wright’s strengths.gshaw wrote: ↑Sat Aug 24, 2019 3:56 pmPersonally thought we've played well and for a bit of more clinical finishing should be out of sight. Clay has been a bit of a weak link at times today imo. Decent enough winning the ball but a bit ponderous on it when we transition to attack. In time if Marsh is any good I can see him taking Clay's place at some point.BiggsyMalone wrote: ↑Sat Aug 24, 2019 4:05 pmOrient have had more chances but they’ve been sloppy with the ball. Re: Crawley (h) Match / Exiles Thread
Thanks both for the feedback. From what I've seen this is a decent performance from us. Should have had one more at least but good to see the chances being made. Agree with the earlier comment that Dennis looks good. Can see us nicking this by the odd goal.dOh Nut wrote: ↑Sat Aug 24, 2019 4:02 pmAgree. Should be well ahead. Chances have been good ones. It'll take another quality finish to beat Morris, looks really solid and made another smart save start of this half.BoniO wrote: ↑Sat Aug 24, 2019 4:10 pmThanks both for the feedback.
