Re: First Half vs Hornchurch
Few people saying the third was Djavan Anderson from Oxford - came through Ajax's academy and played for Lazio prior to joining them, it looks like it could have been him but as he was mostly over the other side of the pitch I cant be totally sure
The post when they signed him... https://www.oufc.co.uk/news/2022/septem ... rson-signs
“It’s an exciting signing- I can’t imagine Oxford have signed too many players who were on the bench for Lazio the night before! He is very fast, he covers us as a wing-back, in midfield or as a winger which gives us flexibility and we look forward to working with him”. - Karl Robinson
Sounds like a Wellens type of player, covers multiple positions, that also happen to be positions we are looking to fill

Been without a club since Oxford released him in 22/23. Could be a very Orient signing.Jaggsy1979 wrote: ↑Wed Jul 10, 2024 9:11 amFew people saying the third was Djavan Anderson from Oxford - came through Ajax's academy and played for Lazio prior to joining them, it looks like it could have been him but as he was mostly over the other side of the pitch I cant be totally sure

Date of birth 21 April 1995 (age 29)[1]
Place of birth Amsterdam, Netherlands
Height 1.74 m (5 ft 9 in)
Position(s) Midfielder, right-back
If he is injury free and fit, could be well worth having him on an extended trial to see if he ticks the Wellens boxes !

Re: First Half vs Hornchurch
Djavan Anderson, not managed more than 26 appearances at any of the 10 clubs he has been at.
128 appearances in last 10 years
Sounds a typical O’s signing.
Great news is he’s still got plenty of miles left in him and won’t cost the earth! Sign him up!

One of the two young keepers will likeIy go out on loan this season. Both highly thought of so a difficult decision as to who.Brigs wrote: ↑Wed Jul 10, 2024 11:24 amhttps://leytonorient.com/teams/

No reason both of them can't - most likely be at step 2 or lower so still able to (mostly) train with us.

Re: First Half vs Hornchurch
I wonder why he’s only got 128 appearances. If he’s been at clubs like Lazio with all their good players maybe his chances were probably limited. That’s only a guess. Anyway he sounds an interesting trialist so it’s down to Richie to decide . Play him against Hearts and see how he gets on
