Great pens.

Well done Gareth and the boys. Yet another semi final in a major tournament. Unrivalled management record.

I’m not actually RTW it was a win win. If we lost Southgate was going if we won👍 in all honesty can you say we are at the same level as Spain and France or even Germany? Nice to see us win a pen shoot out though

Spain are the only team that’s looked consistently good.
Netherlands have looked good in the knock outs so that will be a big challenge if they win tonight

"looked good in the knockouts" is based on the massive sample size of...1 game so far.

I get people still wanting to bag Southgate because they mistake it for having a personality trait, but if you say "France are streets ahead of us" you either haven't watched any of their games or you're just straight up lying/trolling for some reason.

Interesting fact...

On Friday, France advanced to the Euro 2024 semifinals with a penalty shootout win over Portugal. But the win also came with an unusual historic milestone: With the victory, France becomes the first team in Euros history to reach the semifinal without any goals scored in open play.

In five games so far in the tournament, all of France's goals have come either from own goals or penalty kicks.

Now we have to experience the disgrace of proceeding to the semifinals or beyond in three tournaments under this absolute c*nt of a manager. When will we finally stop this madness and go back to the glory years?

How bad must world international football
be when we ( England) can get to 3 semi
finals and beyond and we we’ve looked so
poor under an inept manager ..
No plan B, makes world class players look
so bang average, clueless assessment in his
post match interviews..
And all the while behind the scenes the F A
will be negotiating a new contract with his
people ..

People are just desperate to have something to whinge about, because- - that's Who they Are.

Even a victory cannot be allowed to be enjoyed; because some level of their exacting standards (which they only apply to others, not their Own lives) has not been met.

It must be a miserable, and almost amoebic, existence: citing, and seeing, only the negative, in all scenarios.
Despite being English themselves, the only cause for celebration will come when England are knocked out.

Perhaps it's somewhat simpler than your in depth analysis.
Those you condemn might just want to be entertained regardless of the final outcome.
Please don't start all the flag waving nationalistic crap, had enough of that over recent years.

Spot on.

Look, I’d get it I’d Orient were playing turgid negative stuff week in and week out and you were paying to watch it. Even if we were winning, to some extent it’s justified to want to be entertained.
But all of these moaners are on their couch, with a remote control that presumably allows them to switch channels. Forgetting that it’s a tournament and is only potentially a max of 7 games where no other England manager for the last 58 years has managed to do better. Not realising that it’s very rare that any team in the last 20 years has won a major tournament playing non stop fast, electrifying football.
Proper butt hurt they are being proved wrong every 4 days as well.

Thought you would be out there cheering Gareth and the boys on at every match.
My first excursion was Turin 1980 when tear gas filled the air against Belgium.
Do you often get off your couch to support them abroad then?
Not sure what proper butt hurt even means, but you seem to talk out of yours an awful lot.
This from the football expert who thinks 2 draws and a win equals 7 points

Not sure I buy the ditch any semblance of entertainment and scrape through any way you can argument.
We’ve been extremely fortunate so far, progressing despite Gareth’s best efforts and taking advantage of the favourable draw.
Love to see us win on Wednesday and play some decent football at the same time.
