Re: Labour Wins
Labour did not so much win as the Tories lost. Jezza got a bigger % of the vote and lost.
Glad they won though because its time for a different approach.

Re: Labour Wins
He could not lay out 400 seats for a garden party - unelectable IMO.Rubex Kube wrote: ↑Fri Jul 05, 2024 10:01 amJezza could only dream of 400 seatsLittleMate wrote: ↑Fri Jul 05, 2024 9:32 am Labour did not so much win as the Tories lost. Jezza got a bigger % of the vote and lost.

Pleased he won though, as parliament needs alternate considered views like his as a challenging force to any government. Can't say the same about "Nigel". He's just a disruptor. Labours #1 weapon!!

Mr Max Gold & his alter egos ( & his Tory supporting mates ) have gone strangely quiet. You can stop pretending to be a rabid Communist/Anarchist now.

Re: Labour Wins
I'll give Starmer 3 years and then his ambitious party "colleagues" will start muttering that at 66 he'll be too old to lead Labour into another General Election and he'll have to say he'll step down after that Election to keep them quiet.
In the meantime, unless Labour raise taxes, IMO there won't be much change as there's not much money in the Government coffers.
