Re: Kelman
We now have our full compliment of strikers
Agyei
Kelman
Pigott
Perkins
Nobody is going to be stupid enough to take Pigott off our hands.
If Agyei has another injury prone season then we are totally f*ckd.

Re: Kelman
We definitely need another proven striker, Perkins hasn’t played first team football consistently for ages and Pigott is only fit for the donkey sanctuary in my opinion.

Re: Kelman
I completely agree and that's why it's a matter of urgency we ship out Pigott .He might be OK at another club but it won't happen at Orient . Apart from Agyei our strike force is as weak as dishwater . Richie couldn't possibly be happy with that .

Last season we had:Currywurst and Chips wrote: ↑Sun Jun 30, 2024 3:09 pm Kelman is going to be second choice unless some mug takes Piggot of our hands
Ling ain’t going to allow us to have 5 strikers on the books this season
Agyei
Piggot
Ruel
Drinnan (replaced with Edwards and Dan Adjei2)
Forde
So we’re still 1 down
Piggot isn’t going to feature whether he’s here or not so his wages need to be treated as a sunk cost.
We cannot start the season with what we’ve got. That would be madness.

Re: Kelman
If Agyei is our only option and has to play every minute of every game, at the high tempo we ask our forward players to play, he will have an injury prone season.

Re: Kelman
He’s got a contract. No-one is going to take him off us unless we pay his contract up and he walks away. The Club won’t do that so he’s here for another season. Might as well keep him to help cut the grass if nothing elseRedDwarf 1881 wrote: ↑Sun Jun 30, 2024 7:47 pmOne way or another we've got to off load Pigott .Hoover Attack wrote: ↑Sun Jun 30, 2024 4:36 pmLast season we had:Currywurst and Chips wrote: ↑Sun Jun 30, 2024 3:09 pm Kelman is going to be second choice unless some mug takes Piggot of our hands

Re: Kelman
Well he can watch all our games from the stands . After being kept out of the side by an inexperienced 17 year old he's clearly finished at Orient .Stowaway wrote: ↑Sun Jun 30, 2024 8:58 pmHe’s got a contract. Presumably pre season starts tomorrow and we have the grand total of zero new first team signings once again.

Re: Kelman
Nigel was very wrong , I’m more depressed than excited as I was expecting quality, proven players that had played regular first team football at our level or above.Maybe the exciting players will come in the next 7 days but I won’t hold my breath.RedDwarf 1881 wrote: ↑Sun Jun 30, 2024 11:01 pmNigel said we would be excited about our new signing's . Dear Boy. Of course you can say what you want and great that you have a ST which you don’t actually need to slag off the team before a ball has been kicked.Monkey Boy wrote: ↑Sat Jun 29, 2024 9:56 pmI can say what I like within reason and I wasn’t insulting to you, but if you want to get personal bring it on pal or stop reading my comments because I’m certainly not taking yours on board. It’s a forum and at the moment a democracy, so people are having there say just as you are. All these do gooders think the sun shines out of the club’s backside, we have just seen the two new signings and there definitely out of the backside.
Bring what on? Are you threatening me?

Re: Kelman
I would rather have Sotiriou but we couldn't compete with Rovers on wages . Saying that though what they are paying Ruel is over the top .

Re: Kelman
Ruel always seemed too keen on going to ground instead of trying to score. I wish him well but think Kelman might prove to be better.RedDwarf 1881 wrote: ↑Tue Jul 02, 2024 1:45 amI would rather have Sotiriou but we couldn't compete with Rovers on wages .
