Re: Euro 2024
So, after playing Slovenia and Serbia, it's Slovakia up next for England and then a possible clash with Switzerland. If this pattern of facing tiny countries that begin with 'S' continues, I expect they could meet San Marino in the final.

Re: Euro 2024
Lots of teams seem to be getting criticism from their fans for perceived poor performances. It amazes me how entitled and arrogant fans are and disrespectful to opposition teams.
Most of the so-called second/third rate teams in this tournament still contain players who play for top club teams. And most set their team up to frustrate the attacking edge of their so-called better quality opponents. They deserve some credit for maximising on their game plan.

Re: Euro 2024
Another game of VA-farce nonsense and unsurprisingly English refs in charge. Clive Tyldesley spitting facts about the state of the game with these ludicrous rules.
A good Denmark goal ruled out for a toenail offside
A Germany penalty given by a cricket machine
What are the suits trying to do to the beautiful game

Re: Euro 2024
Meh. Not saying it's ideal but got to draw the line somewhere - so to speak - and they're applying VAR more efficiently and consistently than we do at home.gshaw wrote: ↑Sat Jun 29, 2024 10:20 pmAnd this...Proposition Joe wrote: ↑Sat Jun 29, 2024 10:09 pm VAR hasn't actually been terrible on the whole.but this application of Snicko can f*** right off.
