Trippier has no left foot and passes backwards, sideways and is scared to get wide and attack op LB, has to be dropped, if Foden starts on the left!

Bellingham needs to be moved to No.8 alongside Rice, he has done nothing in last 2 games in creative no.10 role, really disappointing.
If still poor, replaced by Mainoo

Foden needs to and has to play central in No10 role, this for me is an absolute no brainer!

Gordon or Palmer to play wide left, again no brainer.

Saka or Palmer to play wide right

Kane has looked like a lower league no.9 and we all know, Southgate will continue with Kane up front for England, but Southgate needs to use Watkins to replace a very tired and unfit Kane, if his form continues.

Basically we need to fit Palmer in the starting 11!

End of the day, we know Southgate will prob start same 11 on Sunday

You think the current team has the right balance and set up then?

Of course not.
But assuming a kid who has zero caps (at a competitve level) is necessarily the answer is likely clutching at straws.

I do hope you're right though, and that he comes in and does a great job.

Maybe, the answer isn't trent or Gallagher though so you gotta put your faith in one of Wharton, mainoo or bellingham out of position though. What would you do?

As things stand, I would drop Bellingham back (alongside Rice), but effectively be ready to bring Mainoo on. However Bellingham must be only clinging on to his place as he's been poor overall really.

Then move Foden into the centre in the 10 role.

I think we need to give Southgate a lot of credit. He's having to navigate the tricky path of progressing through a tournament without generating a national feelgood factor that could benefit the Tories at the election. He's doing a bloody good job, if you ask me.

By no means am I a fan of Southgate, but I do feel that England showed enough in the last 10-15 minutes of the previous game to indicate that, with changes, England can improve by being more dynamic and end the toxicity. Will the changes be made, though?

Southgate will not only drive fans away but will never win a major tournament for England both of which are not acceptable.
Southgate must go, along with whoever is responsible for giving him the job.
