Yes he is right, just checked and none of those players are currently in the Championship.

Those were great achievements but our route to those games were quite kind.

Our route to those games was "quite kind" because we actually won our groups, instead of coming second as we used to routinely do and then face tougher opposition.

Once again, think back to the Keegan-Sven-McClaren-Capello-Hodgson era. We'd have been guaranteed to have f*cked that up and not reach the final. mainly because we would not have won the group.
