Ipswich extended his contract on 3 rd June for another 12 months.perhaps if he does not get any game time in the next 6 months we could loan or buy him in January window.

He’s not going back to them. That was only to negotiate to get something back for him.

That’s how we were able to get Ollie O’Neil from Fulham a small payment up front but they have a larger than normal sell-on.

I would suggest Ollie was unproven at a senior level, and as such Fulham were never going to get decent money up front. A small payment up front with a larger than normal sell-on was always the best Fulham would get. Whilst still young, Idris is now a proven player. Not sure I would expect Ipswich to take a small fee with a sell on, for a player who may have peaked already.

No I agree CS it's unlikely that Ipswich would go for it having turned down six figure bids last year, but worth considering if we want to prise away some good youngsters from other academies.

We don't really have much of a proven record of selling on players for a good profit, you'd be more inclined to a deal like that with someone like Peterborough.

Yup, El is going to play in goal and Mizouni in CDM. Ling drawing up a spreadsheet of double barrelled players to reduce our required number of signings by 50%
