And that's why we end up with rejects like Joe Pigot
Exactly.
At least spell his surname right , it's Pigott with 2 ts

This club bores me with their lack of transfer engagement. Withdraw contract for players who have not signed and replace asap

That tactic worked really well with Ebou Adams.

Ruel and Tom are not that good. Ruel has one above average season and Tom is meh at best.
Contracts have been with them for a number of weeks. Time to call them on it. If they sign fine if they don’t fine but stop wasting time.

Um, theyre still under contract. And it’s a negotiation. They don’t have to accept the first thing they’re offered.

But likewise the club needs to be looking at other players and drop those two if there's another option who's committed and ready to sign.

Also thought contracts were expired by now?

Absolutely the club should be looking at other options, I'd be astounded if they're not. (Just as James and Ruel are entitled to talk to other clubs and see what's on offer).

Contracts will technically run through to 30/6.

It was one year ago today, that Sanders became our first signing of the season, so unless we sign someone today, the first signing will be later, this season, despite both Richie & Nigel saying we need to sign players earlier

We must be one of the few teams in League 1 who have not signed anyone, and I thought we were doing our business earlier

Steve Evan’s wouldn’t enjoy being our manager . Our transfer business would be miles too slow for him

Personally I'll judge our transfer business on how good they are, rather than what day we sign them. Our best signings last year Galbraith and Agyei were not signed early.

You can only hope that the business has been done early and the club is waiting for a photo opportunity.

Or more than likely we haven't signed any players yet except existing players on new contracts

Not the first time Ruel has dragged his heels over a new deal. Last time it meant he didn’t have a pre-season

Forget about the first signing, the club are going to announce the name of the company who are sponsoring the corner flags !
