But it's true what the geezer says; the match on Tuesday night a perfect illustration, despite playing quite well we were 2 goals down, if it had been at home, the boo boys would have been on players backs, instead the O's combined stiff upper lips remained steadfast and we got the result.

Dont quite agree with the OP. In life if you are doing something, and it keeps going wrong, then you need to change it, or it will keep on going wrong.

At HT on Tuesday, Ross changed it around, and it resulted in a changed result.

Makes me laugh seeing (mostly on twitter), the same people saying it was ludicrous to call for Ross to go after 2 games, also saying he is the man for the job and deserves it, after about 35 mins of good football.

I thought we would lose against Mansfield but after last season I was just hoping for anything outside of the bottom two this season.

However the inverse can and will occur when we do not achieve that success

It is impossible to predict what will happen given variables of the weather, opposition and the quality of the officials, combined with the human error by our players

But the players were so enthusiastic in their application and effort but despite all their determination and effort that 3pts will not occur every week and then we get the unfair response to the group as a whole - Remember words, hurtful words on here can have a dramatic effect on the players mental health and subsequent performance

This is true for supporters of all clubs. Even for those that do have all the success. I'll bet Man City supporters were furious after their team only drew on Saturday. I bet Liverpool supporters were really fed up that they didn't win the League last season. Tottenham supporters were probably gutted when they lost the Champions League final last season. It's just part of being football supported of a particular team.

I cannot stand those so-called 'football supporters' that 'just love the game', but don't support anyone in particular (this is the fault of Sky for putting live football on the tele). They're not real supporters - real supporters spend most of their life being totally miserable because of something related to the club.

Anyway back to Lofc just give the guys some slack when things may go wrong at times

This club is going north after years of decline

Thanks to them all and of course JE who I was thinking about and I am sure everyone else does
They also sang about ‘Killing an Arab’, so not the best band to be quoting lyrics from.

Educate yourself Disguised and find out what the original lyrics are about not what a song title is

Your implied interpretation is wrong to classify a group that wrote a song that song as a art form of poetic licence

But then reading a lot of your posts the comments are often poor and create conflict on here so I assume that is your core personality I will not be making any further comment to you or anyone else on a three word title of a song

Up,

You do miss the point spectacularly. As previously stated, it is best not to quote bands as sages of wisdom, especially with the list of song titles accumulated by The Cure.😅

I see you have also ‘accumulated’ a new BFF in this unlucky fella.

Good luck with that.👍
