I thought we would lose against Mansfield but after last season I was just hoping for anything outside of the bottom two this season.

You see the absolute dream like happiness felt and expressed as we won three points against all our exspectations was tremendous

However the inverse can and will occur when we do not achieve that success

It is impossible to predict what will happen given variables of the weather, opposition and the quality of the officials, combined with the human error by our players

But the players were so enthusiastic in their application and effort but despite all their determination and effort that 3pts will not occur every week and then we get the unfair response to the group as a whole - Remember words, hurtful words on here can have a dramatic effect on the players mental health and subsequent performance

This is true for supporters of all clubs. Even for those that do have all the success. I'll bet Man City supporters were furious after their team only drew on Saturday. I bet Liverpool supporters were really fed up that they didn't win the League last season. Tottenham supporters were probably gutted when they lost the Champions League final last season. It's just part of being football supported of a particular team.

I cannot stand those so-called 'football supporters' that 'just love the game', but don't support anyone in particular (this is the fault of Sky for putting live football on the tele). They're not real supporters - real supporters spend most of their life being totally miserable because of something related to the club.

Thank you I passed my O levels including English over 50 year ago with poor eyesight and a shaking hand find typing hard so I guess all my posts may include a spelling or grammar mistake but hopefully the substance can be understood by anyone including a person of limited intelligence
