Second was a foul initially by Widdowson, but he'd let go and the player just blatantly dived
Lovely cross from Ling for the first
Shocking keeping for the second
Shocking finish from Dennis for the third, so lucky JMD was there for it to go in off of
The cross for the first was awful. Ling and Brophy are in a 2v1 position from the corner and isn’t even looking for the ball back from Brophy, it’s staggering. Brophy forced him into receiving it. The cross itself is overhit, there’s no way anyone is scoring from that. It’s only a magical piece of play from Dennis that creates the chance.

It’s not luck for the third, it’s hard work breaking into the box.

I'm impressed that you've found another way to criticise Ling. He can't win can he?!

That's you told, creamy.

Don't understand why things have to be so binary on the lad, almost as if he is praised to make up for the criticism.

In reality in was a bit of a nothing ball, a dink into the area not really picking anyone out. It was going to be difficult to score from that, but also with a packed area hard to create a good chance.

On the other hand it wasn't a bad cross either. The club's highlight on Brophy against Stevenage actually summed him up, beat a man ends up, cross it in over everyone's head.

Gotta be thankful that Ling doesn't do that, but it is over-egging a bit to call it good.

Yeah it was a percentage ball into a crowded area that led to a goal. It seems ridiculous to call it 'awful'. It just seems a very strange reason to criticise someone.

I’m not criticising him because of it, I’m calling out those who are praising him for a wonder pass.

It wasn’t even the cross itself that’s really the issue. It’s the way he’s given the ball to Brophy in a 2 v 1 then gone and hid behind their defender rather than looking for the ball back.

In the circumstances, he’s done well to keep the ball in and then chip it up. But he has created those circumstances.

Love this from Football365 (That's pure Edinburgh)

Salford’s fellow promoted side from the National League last season suffered pain and heartache that no on-the-pitch matters could ever match with the tragic and untimely death of manager Justin Edinburgh, a man who had done more than anybody to put right the wrongs of the last half-decade in this corner of east London. Edinburgh coupled great quality and a young, thriving team with a never-say-never attitude exemplified through his entire time in football. Under ‘one of their own’ in Ross Embleton this season, Leyton Orient have kept the spirit of their former leader and shot up the table against the odds

It’s what they do best, and never has it been more obvious than in this week’s dramatic 3-2 comeback victory at promotion favourites Mansfield Town. Two goals down after half an hour, trailing with 12 minutes of regular time to play, and still taking all three points back to the capital. That’s pure Edinburgh.

I just thought ling did really well to dig it out and get it passed the first man and keep it in the danger area. Haven't seen anyone do that in the highlights this season, virtually all crosses have had no chance of us scoring from them
