THE PUNJABI O'S LAUNCH EVENT TO CELEBRATE PUNJABI CULTURE AND DIVERSITY IN FOOTBALL

Post by LPE »

A superb evening at the club last night with Devlin, Theo, Simpson and Zech present. Really smoothly organised event with speeches that was extremely well attended.

Quality buffet to boot.

Putting in the effort to be present at events such as this does add credence to the claim that he is genuinely remorseful and has learned from his past.

As somebody who has been highly critical of the decision to bring Simpson into the club if you asked me “is there anything he could ever do to make up for what he did?” my answer would be:

1. Never do anything even remotely similar again
2. Actively engage in community events which encourage and support diversity

He appears to be doing both of those so whilst I’m still not entirely comfortable with him being at the club I do appreciate that he is doing all the right things. I hope he keeps it up.

Amazing. Rev spent three months harassing any orient fan who moved on about this signing, but is completely taken in by the most inevitable, transparent bit of PR possible; it’d be weird if Simpson *wasnt* at the first possible opportunity to show that he loves a bit of diversity.

Sometimes it’s amazing that this board is free (well, free for those who don’t donate, anyway)

Being accused of harassment by you of all people is quite the case of pot and kettle.

Ironic as your comment itself contains a classic example of your preferred method of harassment on this site (i.e. making an unfounded accusation about someone and then relentlessly insisting it’s a fact with no evidence whatsoever in an attempt to discredit someone you happen to not like)

It’s amusing how every single time you attempt to pursue a feud that you apparently have no interest in you give us yet another example of your blatantly hypocrisy.

So you managed to access personal data about who donated to an anonymous pledge, did you?

Or are you saying that those who run this site broke data protection law to provide personal information about anonymous donations to you in order for you to continue a feud?

It’s obvious when you’ve been caught out because you suddenly go very succinct.

To recap, you are insinuating that I didn’t donate when there was a recent pledge to raise funds for the running of this site.

I asked how you could know who has or hasn’t donated to a pledge where it is possible to donate anonymously, of which many donations were. You failed to answer.

What evidence do you have to support your accusation?

So to clarify, you’re not accusing me of failing to donate to the recent pledge for funds to run this site?

Yes or no?

Mate, it doesn’t bother me that you didn’t donate, so why would I accuse you of anything?

I don’t think that the fact that I donated and you didn’t necessarily makes me a better person than you.

What evidence do you have to back up the statement “the fact that I donated and you didn’t”?

The fact that I donated is there in black and white on the list of donors. And again, I’m not judging you negatively for choosing not to donate. It’s perfectly valid to use this site for free if you have other priorities, and don’t let anyone tell you otherwise

What evidence do you have to make the claim that I made a choice not to donate?

You’re right, I don’t know whether it was a choice. It may be that circumstances made it impossible, or it may be that you didn’t give it any thought.

Interesting, so it’s yet another attempt to potentially obtain personal information about me. In that instance, my full name.

Why have you now made repeated attempts to obtain personal information about me? Both times masked as ways of providing “evidence” against a claim that you (and only you) made.

Manipulative and quite sinister behaviour.
