It’s relevant to whether or not Roy Keane is guilty of something else a quarter of a century later?

Guilty of something that a Court decided happened TO him.

If somebody has been charged with an offence, I believe it is customary for the powers that be to discover if anything is known of previous offences before a sentence is passed. I am not saying that Keane IS guilty in this case, btw. I simply thought that it was an interesting case worthy of discussion on this forum. It seems to have rattled a few cages, yours included.

Roy Keane wasn’t charged with an offence.

Who said it wasn't an interesting case? I just found your (and Sid's) ridiculous posts just as worthy of comment.

Yeah, previous offences of the person CHARGED. They don't tend to drag through the victim's past when deciding on a sentence because that would be massively irrelevant.

"Well it was going to be 3 years but Keane got sent off once so we'll knock 6 months off because reasons".

Believe it or not, yes, I am referring to this particular case when replying to you pointing out - in response to mentions of Keane’s history of on field misdemeanours - that it’s customary to check someone’s past when they’re charged with an offence.
Why do you ask?

Bit worried now that the yellow card I got in the 2007 Chaos Cup is gonna bite me on the arse when the bloke who stole my phone out of my hands is sentenced

Fair enough. What prompted me to post in the first place is that I felt a measure of pity for the accused - he was facing powerful, famous media personalities from the outset, which put him at something of a disadvantage. I am prepared to accept that Keane was the injured party in this case - I am not possession of all the relevant details, anyway.

If you ask me it was selfish of media personalities to get themselves headbutted

You know Halaand played 45 minutes for Norway 3 or 4 days later then played 68 minutes for Leeds the following Saturday.
I don't get what you wanted him arrested for?

People think the tackle ruined his career. Despite him retiring with an injury to his other leg.

Looks like Keano is less innocent than he is claiming. Guys lucky he's not a cripple like Haaland.

Have you considered the possibility that something may have happened before they entered the room?

I'm restricting my comments to what I have actually seen but yeah sure Keano could have taken his legs when out of sight of the VAR cctv. Once a villain. Always a sly villain.
