Well cheesed off
Having had my seats in same place for years I tried renewing as I usually do by emailing club and never got a response after 4 emails. As I have recently moved my post arrived late. Long and short of it is that they sold my seats and offered me unsuitable ones. Am really peed off about. Anyone else had a similar experience?

Quite the opposite. I have been eyeing up some seats for a few years and was delighted that they finally became available for the upcoming season. Well chuffed

Why did you wait to renew ? I renewed mine one or two days after the opening day of new season ticket sales .Yanzi Gravy wrote: ↑Tue Jun 04, 2024 10:51 am Having had my seats in same place for years I tried renewing as I usually do by emailing club and never got a response after 4 emails. I was ill and unable to focus on anything and was unable to go up there so emailed and rang repeatedly but it was fruitless ordeal. I don’t know if Lindsay still there but seems to have gone to pot there.RedDwarf 1881 wrote: ↑Tue Jun 04, 2024 11:12 amWhy did you wait to renew ? You don't need to justify yourself as to why you didn't renew within minutes of the window opening. Everyone has different circumstances, was a ridiculous question.Yanzi Gravy wrote: ↑Tue Jun 04, 2024 11:14 amI was ill and unable to focus on anything and was unable to go up there so emailed and rang repeatedly but it was fruitless ordeal.RedDwarf 1881 wrote: ↑Tue Jun 04, 2024 11:12 amWhy did you wait to renew ? I'm sorry to hear you was ill . Hopefully you're OK now . I believe Lindsay is still there so maybe try and get in touch with her again. She might be able help you find other seats which are just as good .Yanzi Gravy wrote: ↑Tue Jun 04, 2024 11:14 amI was ill and unable to focus on anything and was unable to go up there so emailed and rang repeatedly but it was fruitless ordeal. They’re clearly overwhelmed with a small team and have been every summer. The club needs to make their lives easier.

Re: Well cheesed off
Shame this happened but not a lot the club could have done as gave a deadline for renewals and obviously wouldn’t be aware of individuals circumstances.
My only suggestion is to contact Lindsey directly to see if she can do anything. At best she may contact the person that bought your seat to see if they would be happy to move.

Re: Well cheesed off
After the f*** up with my season ticket last year, when I went in to the club shop to get it sorted out, a bloke who was doing the shirt printing for my mate’s daughter was also doing the ticket office. He managed to cancel a supporters season tickets and resell their seats for the Portsmouth game.
Nothing surprises me anymore.

Re: Well cheesed off
It wasn’t a ridiculous question because the club gave a deadline so I was just curious. The man was ill so it couldn’t be helped . Hopefully he’s ok now and the club can find him good alternative seatsProposition Joe wrote: ↑Tue Jun 04, 2024 11:15 amYou don't need to justify yourself as to why you didn't renew within minutes of the window opening. Thank you very much for your kind words. I had my seats for years so sentimental but I’ll see what they can do .RedDwarf 1881 wrote: ↑Tue Jun 04, 2024 12:39 pmI'm sorry to hear you was ill . I was indeed but never actually ever got through ?’by phone. Just continuously emailed on every available email until I got a reply eventually. I have always found the phone lines almost impossible.Max B Gold wrote: ↑Tue Jun 04, 2024 12:21 pmBet you were blue in the face by the time you got off the phone.Yanzi Gravy wrote: ↑Tue Jun 04, 2024 11:14 amI was ill and unable to focus on anything and was unable to go up there so emailed and rang repeatedly but it was fruitless ordeal. I was in hospital unexpectedly , I’ll show them my paperwork but not expecting them to ask the new occupants out of my seats to give way, just rather annoyed I could not get replies from emails or the phone answered.RedDwarf 1881 wrote: ↑Tue Jun 04, 2024 1:52 pmIt wasn’t a ridiculous question because the club gave a deadline so I was just curious. Re: Well cheesed off
This you will be pleased to know will be my last mention on the subject.
I have just been clearing my old emails to the Club as a result of my recent experiences and found one’s going back to 2008 where I have had similar experiences getting through to the office trying to purchase goods and tickets, one, begging them to take £1500 in 2008 when all my kids went too. There is obviously some long standing problem. They should have a Red Hot line for people wanting to spend money there especially when they are always saying cash is tight.
