Why do some users only receive partial refunds?
This from the club
Leyton Orient were disappointed with issues with the website that prevented many users from accessing yesterday’s video and audio stream.
Website providers, Purpose Media, have confirmed following an investigation that while we should have had adequate server space for the increased number of users, an unexpected issue relating to caching caused problems that meant the website was inaccessible for many people. The Club issues a sincere apology for any inconvenience caused by the issues.
Danny Macklin, CEO of Leyton Orient, said: “We met promptly with Purpose Media this morning and we’ve agreed future processes to further enhance the functionality of the official Club website, especially on a Matchday.
“As a Club, we are very much committed to providing a first class service with our Lion & Key Hotel sponsored live stream and we fell short of that last night. Thank you to our supporters for providing their feedback. We remain confident that the steps put in place moving forward will ensure improved reliability and service”
A full refund will automatically be provided to users who purchased a pass for the live-video stream for the Mansfield Town game, while season-long subscribers will receive a partial refund of £3. Season-long audio commentary subscribers will also receive a partial refund of £3 while monthly audio commentary subscribers will receive a partial refund of £1.
Please note a refund will take between 5-7 working days to reach your account, but you should receive a confirmation email in the following days. If you haven’t received a confirmation email by 5pm on Thursday, August 22, please contact e.byrne@leytonorient.net, who will be able to provide confirmation of the refund.

Re: Refund For Failed Stream
Good quick action taken by Danny and the club. In 2019, it is embarrassing that such issues occur.

Re: Refund For Failed Stream
Very impressive.
I’ve already stated elsewhere but I experienced no issues with the feed whatsoever.
