Cambridge Away Next Season

Post by one o in huntingdon »

Just been reading in the local press that Cambridge are changing their away fans arrangements.
They are giving the seated stand behind the goal to home fans and away section will now be the side stand
Total away fans allocation will now be 1000 instead of the previous 1400

Good - would rather stand. Noticed a comment on their forum that James Brophy is off.

Hopefully not over Christmas week again (and no direct trains).

What's the betting that they will now move the pitch closer to that stand.

Could actually lose more spaces, just read they must provide at least 100 covered seats in that stand too.

A bloke at work is a season ticket holder.

Its all change at Cambridge. After changing ends, they are going to develop that away end to increase capacity. The car lot by the entrance area has been bought by the club so they can move the supporters club as part of the process.
