Leyton Pub News
Looks like the Tech pub (to be renamed Leyton Engineer) will be re-opening in July ready for the new season. Been a big refurbishment- think it is a grade 2 listed building? Wonder if it will be for the away fans?

Always quite liked the tech but thr bar was tiny and the toilets were actually really annoying so glad they have adressed at least one of them

Re: Leyton Pub News
A great friends and family night yesterday. The pub was packed with superb beers on the rig. Decent craft offerings from Siren and Five Points. Cask is Sheps Master Brew and 2 others.
Pool and darts games room is the bizniz.
A huge asset for Leyton residents (and shire dwellers to enjoy when coming in for the match).

The pub world is being taken over by Golden Ales and craft beer. If Abbot/Doombar/London Pride is not craft ale, what is?

Re: Leyton Pub News
Nice refreshment stop along the High Road on a match day- Leyton Star, Birbeck, Northcote (slight detour), Engineer, kebab at Anatolia, Kapture, LOSC, Coach & Horses, Lion & Key, Prince of Wales & William 4th. Plus Remarkable pubs have bought the old Spoons pub on Lea Bridge Road. Just what is needed after a defeat

Re: Leyton Pub News
This is excellent news and yet another offering along Leyton High Road. More competition for the offering at the club of course and something that NT possibly won’t welcome.LPE wrote: ↑Thu Sep 05, 2024 11:38 am A great friends and family night yesterday. I assume that food is on offer at the new pub ??

Not on match days but this will affect the Coach revenue drastically.

Re: Leyton Pub News
Craft beer is just a marketing ploy. It is supposed to be a beer from a small independent brewery but the big brewers have latched onto it. Much the way the mega companies bought real ale breweries and are now closing them down. Under that criteria the three you mention would not qualify.Give it to Jabo wrote: ↑Thu Sep 05, 2024 12:07 pm The pub world is being taken over by Golden Ales and craft beer.
