If voting meant anything they wouldn’t let you do it.

Tactical voting any way to get rid of the Tories, it’s the only way.
A vote for a minor or independent party will only be wasted and allow the Tories back in.

Not sure how the Tory candidate will do here after years of the crap MP Jonathan Danglygoolies
John Major's old stronghold, but the demographic is definitely changing and like everywhere else no love for this government.

You know, having given it some thought, I reckon the Tories did alright these last 14 years actually. Might give them my vote as I reckon next time they might just do better.

I’m in the safest of Labour seats. I’m undecided between voting labour out of habit, or abstaining on the basis that it sends a better message to give less than enthusiastic support for the incoming government.

Eagerly, I listened to his speech and was quite surprised to find myself nodding in agreement. A lot of the achievements he rattled off I had forgotten about.

Guy seems like he's pretty honest, we've certainly had worse, inflation is sorted its sunlit uplands from here on. Labour seem to have shook off the lefty nutters but there's still doubts there, can they be trusted with the economy after brown sold all the gold and gave all our cash to the banks? Early July we'll find out just what everyones thinking.

I'll vote for literally any left of centre party if I'm fortunate enough to have one on my ballot paper.

Because he has a different opinion to you? I don't agree with what caca has written but he and the other right wingers on here are just as entitled to their opinions as us lefties. Rishi does have a hardcore of loons just like this, that will peddle this nonsense and vote for him whatever. Don't forget that.

Just because he has a different opinion?

I Eagerly await your reason why you think someone voting Tory is a WUM 🙄

The new election boundaries mean I now come under Clacton. Reform will be all over it, but no in my village I expect.

Many people in Scotland will be away, as the election will be held during school holidays here. I doubt Rishi was counting on many votes from here anyway. Still, can't imagine there being a general election held in August

Probably vote Green, TUSC or whoever else is standing that's left-ish. Same constituency as CEB (I think?) so basically a protest vote as the Labour MP is safe as houses.

Do they not have postal or proxy votes in Scotland?
