Transfer Window Dates.

The summer transfer window will open from 14th June 2024 and close on Friday 30th August 2024 at 11pm.

- The winter transfer window will open on 1st January 2025 and close on Monday 3rd February 2025 at 11pm.

Exactly . You just know we'll be last minute yet again . Hopefully lessons will have been learnt from last January and we're on the front foot this time with our transfer business .

Not really, hinders clubs like ourselves from being able to bring in players when the squad is ravaged by injuries. Maybe clubs should be able to bring in emergency loans like they can with keepers.

When windows were brought in, bigger clubs were just buying their way to promotion. But now we have FFP, this should stop those clubs from doing this.

I'd also say that by having these windows, it over inflates the cost of players as just becomes an auction twice a year.

And also to stop players forcing moves to said bigger clubs, thus leaving their existing ones in the lurch.

Steve Evans already agreed to take Johnson Clarke - Harris from Peterborough. He was due to be sold to Charlton in January for 500k but could not agree terms. Plays C/F. Evans already on the trail of players. Rotherham will be up there next season

Yeah those two worked together when Evan’s was previously at Rotherham, Great signing on a free. Although I reckon he’s demanded a hefty signing on fee.
