It's good to know there's a club that are even bigger bottlers than Orient when it comes to the play-offs

Re: Peterbro v Oxford
4 Finals 4 wins.
If they get to a final they win.
Beaten in 2 Semi Finals by the odd goal hardly qualifies for bottling it. Not like being 2 up at HT & losing on penalties is it .

Re: Peterbro v Oxford
The fact we were not able to play our strongest side this season , not even once is crazy . IMO, If it wasn't for our injury problems I think we would have made the play offs . Hopefully we'll have better luck with injuries next season .Hoover Attack wrote: ↑Wed May 08, 2024 10:30 pm Watched tonight, with a fully fit team we are more than a match for both.

Potential defensive choice of Happe, Simpson, Beckles and Cooper and an attacking choice of Graham, O'Neill, Archibald, Agyei & Sotirioi is pretty crazy to me.RedDwarf 1881 wrote: ↑Wed May 08, 2024 11:12 pmThe fact we were not able to play our strongest side this season , not even once is crazy . We need new players , our current squad isn't strong enough in my opinion.RedDwarf 1881 wrote: ↑Wed May 08, 2024 11:12 pmThe fact we were not able to play our strongest side this season , not even once is crazy . Next season is going to be tougher than this one was. . That's how strong we need to be throughout the squad if we want to be successful next season .idontkn0 M wrote: ↑Wed May 08, 2024 11:37 pmPotential defensive choice of Happe, Simpson, Beckles and Cooper and an attacking choice of Graham, O'Neill, Archibald, Agyei & Sotirioi is pretty crazy to me.RedDwarf 1881 wrote: ↑Wed May 08, 2024 11:12 pmThe fact we were not able to play our strongest side this season , not even once is crazy . Re: Peterbro v Oxford
I thought Oxford were the best team we played at home this season but they were a bit fortunate to win last night.
The thing that got me was the amount of grappling and holding at corners that was going on, it was more like WWF wrestling.
I thought this was being punished by Referees this season ??

Re: Peterbro v Oxford
They seemed to have cracked down on time wasting and managers showing dissent but it was a free for all in the Oxford Penalty area last night, if referees had the balls to penalise people it would stop.Cheshunto wrote: ↑Thu May 09, 2024 2:17 pm I thought Oxford were the best team we played at home this season but they were a bit fortunate to win last night.

I’ve said before, let’s have shirts made of tearable material… the defending team would have the evidence in their hands!Cheshunto wrote: ↑Thu May 09, 2024 2:17 pm I thought Oxford were the best team we played at home this season but they were a bit fortunate to win last night.
