Worst tactical move of the season?
Quite possibly goes to Tuchel tonight, take off Harry Kane a goal up, changes to 3 at the back and concedes two in a few mins. How very Spursy...

Re: Worst tactical move of the season?
Sorry, thought you were talking of the times we conceded after making multiple-subs last season …

Re: Worst tactical move of the season?
One of the goals conceded was down to Manuel Neuer's error as he spilled the ball. On the Kane substitution Quote BBC match report ''Tuchel, due to depart at the end of the season, defended his call, saying Kane was in no state to continue. "He couldn't keep going. He played with back pain and he couldn't keep going, his back froze up,"
Substitutions can be well meaning but can often backfire on the team, witness what happened when England lost to Germany in the 1970 World cup.
The story goes that Sir Alf foolishly subbed off Bobby Charlton when leading 2-0, only for England to lose all structure and confidence, letting their lead slip to 2-2 and then going on to lose in extra time. At the time, supporters were quick to blame Banksy’s 'dicky tummy' as Peter Bonetti dropped a series of clangers.
