Re: RIP Phil Hoadley
Remember him with fondness, just goes to show how precious life is,and worrying about a new or retained manager is so pointless

Re: RIP Phil Hoadley
Glad he got his own thread because Phil was a giant in defence for the Os during the most successful spell in our history.
Spoke to Phil at the unveiling of Laurie Cunninghams sratue in 2019. He was such a lovely man

Re: RIP Phil Hoadley
Sad news. Strong, dependable. Will always remember his goal against Chelsea in 1972. R.I.P. Phil.

Re: RIP Phil Hoadley
I remember Phil so well, was my favourite player of that era. He signed for Norwich from us, was a good player for them too - last I had heard he was still living up here in Norfolk.
R.I.P Phil, thanks for all the memories.

Re: RIP Phil Hoadley
That goal will live in my memory forever and I'm sure he'd turned with his hands in the air before it had hit the back of the net.
A great servant of this club and a damn good footballer.
RIP Phil - but at only 72, far too young.
