Re: Richie Wellens Interview
Even if he was a sh*t manager it’d be worth keeping him in post as he’s such good fun.

Re: Richie Wellens Interview
True what RW says
If we can go into next season with:
Happe, Simpson, Beckles & Cooper as our 4 x CBs, we can build on that solid base.
Add another FB to James & Sweeney, although I do believe we need 2 x FB, as I want to see Gailbraith further forward.
Then GK aside, we can look at bringing Idris in and then concentrate on the forward line

Re: Richie Wellens Interview
Rumour is he was so conscious of the ever increasing bald spot he was deliberately getting sent off to stop people looking down at it.

Re: Richie Wellens Interview
Exactly . After listening to Richie's interview you've virtually said what I was going to say . If our squad's positions were as strong as our CB positions would be if Simpson and Happe re-sign , I think we would get promoted . We need El Miz back and a new striker . I would also be happy to get Shaq Forde back again on loan but I don't know if our budget could stretch that far after we've signed our new players .Stan1972 wrote: ↑Wed May 01, 2024 7:17 pm True what RW says

That was full on Ashley Peacock!
I’d heard the hair transplant rumour but yeah, defo sounds like some dentistry work thrown in for good measure.

Re: Richie Wellens Interview
Last season we were allegedly only paying £500 a week for Shaq. I suspect he'd be 2-3-4x that much this coming season.RedDwarf 1881 wrote: ↑Wed May 01, 2024 9:09 pmExactly . Re: Richie Wellens Interview
I’d expect Adu Adjei could be this seasons Shaq - cheap inexperienced forward loanee on their second loan.

I mean that he is not a "yes" man.
How many of us in our jobs have to conform and curtail our instincts about how the job should be carried out because we have to "toe the line"?

Re: Richie Wellens Interview
I have worked with many people who simply think that the way to "get on" is to toady up to the management at all costs.

Re: Richie Wellens Interview
It was good too hear that Richie agrees with me.....,.... Something I've been saying for ages, that we've been bringing in new players too late, and we should have everyone new, here before pre season training begins.
I wouldn't mind betting that that was one of the things Richie insisted on before he signed.

Reckon you are right. But what's that about his hair growing back? Just a haircut or something else?
