Re: Richie signs new 3 year deal
Well done the club for getting him a new deal so we get extra compensation in our owners pockets when he leaves in the next few weeks

Ok guys I’ll hold my hands up, I was wrong.and I’m glad I was. However I think the recent speculation has brought this announcement forward. What with Ipswich looking like there going up, as I have said before, El Miz will sign. I can’t be wrong again, can I ?

Re: Richie signs new 3 year deal
Brilliant news and start to the close season.
I was fearing us losing him with him missing from the Starman night. Then the comment on the released list yesterday which involved him made me think maybe not, fingers have been crossed since.
I think he’s been bitten before, knows he’s got a great chairman here and support, and that must have been a big factor.

So what we can conclude from all of this is that Wellens finds awards ceremonies really boring. I agree with him.
Re: Richie signs new 3 year deal
Great news - this guy is something special. He seems absolutely delighted to continue - he loves our club. Sounds like a very positive thing and there are players who love playing for him and for the club. Transfers etc could be interesting!

Re: Richie signs new 3 year deal
I've no doubt he was all over it last season, but can well imagine him being a bit 'what is there to celebrate, we finished 11th' about the whole thing this year. The Reverend wrote: ↑Wed May 01, 2024 1:10 pm So what we can conclude from all of this is that Wellens finds awards ceremonies really boring. Do you not think someone might have mentioned that if it was the case and wished him better?Top of the JES wrote: ↑Wed May 01, 2024 1:15 pmOr perhaps he was unwell. The Reverend wrote: ↑Wed May 01, 2024 1:10 pm So what we can conclude from all of this is that Wellens finds awards ceremonies really boring.
