Who will be Captain for season 24/25?

I'm assuming Darren Pratley will not be offered another playing contract as he was given only a 1-year contract last year, but it also would not surprise me if he was given another year.

I don't want Omar or Dan Happe as Captain.

I'd like us to recruit a Captain who has captained a Championship side and also won a promotion in his career e.g. along the lines of Steve Dawson, Nathan Clarke or Jobi McAnuff. However, I have no names to put in the frame.

A good few have worn the armband this season, either from the start or when Prats was substituted, but I'd still prefer an experienced incomer.
