We could've done had that been Hearn's interest (rather than his own greed)Hoover Attack wrote: ↑Fri Apr 05, 2024 10:57 pm It’s a shame they didn’t make all this money 10 /15 years ago. Maybe we wouldn’t have been f*cked over so badly if so?
Or maybe I’m being naive.
For example the commercial space, what's more sustainable for the club...
a) ongoing commercial rent that reduces club losses and gives room for expansion for other ventures in future should they want to take it back in-house
b) sell it to Hearn below market value that he then takes away to pay LOFC debts to himself and Hearn then gets the income stream forever more (eventually sold on, not sure who to or how much it went for in the end)
Same for the land behind the goal, do you
a) get best price for club selling direct to developer
b) sell it to yourself at a low price then resell it secretly to the developer
Also look at all the work T&T, Macklin and Devlin put into maximising attendance, improving commercial offerings, sponsorships etc. How comes brilliant business Hearn never did any of that?
