Personally I think tonight was always gonna be tough and I would judge Ross after a couple of months, no change.
One thing I have noticed:
There are people out there who seem too scared to have an opinion that criticises the club.
They will stay quiet, waiting for some outlying negative tweet like 'ROSS OUT' and then use that as a platform to vent frustration, digging out other fans rather than assessing the game.

Happens after every game.
I think more of an issue is when you have people that never post anything constructive or positive but pop up to mindlessly stick the knife in whenever opportunity presents. These people are usually nowhere to be seen after good results. We've seen one such thread tonight already.
