Maybe the other one of The Loanees then comes on for the last 5 minutes. And we're able to give them a little bit more time again on Saturday, after they've had a couple more training sessions with the squad. (Yes when we're playing Saturday Tuesday Saturday we're unlikely to be training more than twice a week and both of those sessions will be low intensity).
I honestly don’t care who plays up front, just as long as it’s not Piggot.

Exactly. What even is point of loaning The Loanees when you're not going to play them?

Rather see Sweeney upfront than that useless waste of space Pigott.
Just hope RW sees sense and ain’t point scoring or whatever else is going on in playing Pigott. I’m sure he’s a lovely lad but it just ain’t working.
I’d rather see the loanees even if they failed than Pigott there.

This is like the classic “might as well put the youth team in” you get when the team are on a bad run of form.
Remember, we did that actually, and got relegated out of the league once

Edwards is 20. How long should he have to wait before he gets a chance?

Dont recall you or Hoover piping up about any previous young loans. This is all about your anti Ling feelings.

Perhaps if RW really wants to play Pigott then CB could be an ideal spot for him????????? Any thoughts?

Get a grip man ! We are comfortably mid table with a slim chance of making the playoffs and an even slimmer chance of getting relegated. If you can’t look to blood youngsters at this time then when can you ??

As an aside I think the criticism of Piggot is OTT and if RS is going to be out for a period of time, personally I would give him the opportunity to start a few games to hopefully get him back in to some semblance of form but to say we run the risk of “f*cking up” the loanees careers by giving them half a dozen starts at lge 1 level is just utter nonsense.

In RW's pre match interview for tomorrow. One of the two loanees will start, Theo's going for a scan today, Happe is 3/4 weeks out minimum. Three or four changes overall.

Whichever one of The Loanees starts better be on it from the start or I’m right on their case.

Ironically it’ll be the usual suspects on here who’ve been writing off Pigotts career that’ll be right on the back of the kids if they dare even make a pass backwards

Shall I do that for you?

Then you can come back with a 'My nan is better than piggot' or ' What's the point of signing them and not playing them?'

Shall we do that?
Eh ??

Stan1972 wrote: Mon Feb 12, 2024 10:48 am The Loanees, Edwards & Adu-Adjei may not have had any mins at L1 level, but they will still be more of a goal threat than Piggot, they can’t be any worse, that would be impossible!!
Awkward.
