Also how do you measure character? Last years team bounced back most times after a bad result, which to me shows a lot of character.

Last seasons Orient squad had more character than talent. Pretty much every orient squad in my life would have capitulated when Salford were about to overtake us.

The Sutton game where Salford already won, Solihull were winning and we were losing..I think they both would have overtaken us that day but we battled and had ten men, and won.

This 100%. The sheer relief walking out of Sutton that day was immense. I remember getting in and having a drink, couldn't quite believe the fightback that I had just witnessed.

Wonder if we are still in the market for one more player. My Gillingham supporting workmate says Bradley Garmston is on his way out this week. He was signed by JE I believe back in 2015. Has had terrible luck with injuries but meant to be a decent player. Can play left back/wingback, Wonder whether he is on Embletons radar. Watch this space

I think its Jobi we miss.

You can’t keep relying on a player in he’s late 30s.
We must now look at bringing in better quality.
