We’ve had some great results this season while never being able to play our strongest side due to injuries. However it’s disappointing not to make the playoffs having had an outside chance of making them . Still, I would’ve taken a 10th place finish at the beginning of the seasonBergen wrote: ↑Tue Apr 02, 2024 10:57 pmI understand that he was disappointed yesterday, but on Friday he said that we`ve had a brilliant season.Monkey Boy wrote: ↑Tue Apr 02, 2024 12:00 pm He didn’t look or sound happy, not just by yesterday’s result but in general. I don’t blame him.

Re: Wellens interview
Let’s look at the bigger picture, 3 wins or possibly only 2 wins from last 5 games, should secure 10th on our return to L1.
We have shown when we have strong starting 11-16 players, and we can compete with the best teams in L1.
If any of us were offered that at the start of the season we would have taken that.
What RW and the squad have achieved this season is fantastic and it sets us up for next seasons play off/promotion push.
Let’s sit back and enjoy the last 5 games, knowing next season we will be a L1 team, who will be stronger, more experienced and hungry to go one step further.

Re: Wellens interview
After giving it some thought I'd suggest to Wellens to prime John Sitton to stand in for him.WilliamTell wrote: ↑Tue Apr 02, 2024 1:34 pmIf I were him I'd sit them all down in front of the video of the match and point out where they went wrong. Maybe charge them £20 to watch it.Story of O wrote: ↑Tue Apr 02, 2024 12:30 pm He certainly doesn’t want the players to pass backwards or sideways like they do, so why do they do it
