Yes , it's ironic . We've had such bad luck with injuries this season and that's ultimately cost us at least a play off spot . I'm just grateful we're not involved in a relegation dogfight . I'm just hoping we've now got all our bad luck with injuries out the way and we can have a good crack at getting promotion next season
Orient weren’t making the playoffs with or without the players mentioned.
I disagree . Look at the difference Agyei made when he played in the team . We've had games this season where we've been totally dominate but without Ageyi our chances went begging . For example I'm sure we would have gotten more from our home games against Bristol Rovers and Port Vale if he'd been playing . The people on here who said the failure to sign an experienced striker in January would turn around and bite us on the arse have been proven correct .
You’re really over selling his ability. He isn’t prime Ronaldo that would drag us into promotion. He had a purple patch of 4 goals, 1 of which was a penalty. His all round play was good but if you don’t have competant players playing with him, you won’t do well. The experienced striker argument is a bit stupid too. Pigott is experienced and he’s sh*t. Its a failure from the transfer committee to go into the season so short of strikers and then not add quality in January.
El Mizouni hasn’t been injured until this point. Happe and Archibald are both recent injuries too.
The squad isn’t good enough to get into the playoffs and that is being proven.

Yup we carried a far greater attacking threat with Agyei doing both holdup play and finishing chances. You can't go a full season with only one competent striker in that central position and something that needs to be remedied in summer if we're serious about next season.
There's no-one else in our squad capable of leading the line. Our best results and best form of the season came with Dan in the side... starting with him making Beckles winner v Charlton, through winning at Portsmouth and him getting the winner against Bolton. Big matches, big performances.

I think you are very wrong . It's the failure of our other players not to have added some goals to our tally . Players like James, Graham ,El Miz , Galbraith . Our midfield have not contributed enough goals . Even our central defenders do not get the goals you would expect ,especially from set pieces we are pathetic .
Now a lot of that could be down to the way RW sets his teams up in which case he might have to change .

Right conclusion, wrong workings.
It’s Agyeis all round game that we’ve missed. He is as good as anyone in the division at that lone striker role. It’s not that we miss chances when he’s not playing, it’s that we don’t create anywhere near as many, we’re just not as much of a threat in the final third.

Thus far, the two young loanees have chipped in precisely zero goals. With that in mind would it have been better in retrospect to have kept Drinan?
