Re: Leyton Orient Youth
It’s going to take a while for our Academy to catch up with our league status. There’s no Happes or ruels or hectors in the current crop.

Being top of the league is a good start! Perhaps we will see one or two in pre-season...
Having a good academy is vital for the club.can understand why we are upgrading the facilties. In league 1 you can sell a good youngster for 1 to 2 million

Nonsense, we will almost certainly see Charlie Pegrum - Reon Smith Koussi and Possibly Maiki Welch in pre season for sure all very promising and probably a few others as we mix and match teams and squads in pre season.Hoover Attack wrote: ↑Sat Mar 30, 2024 8:01 pmI really hope not, we’re in big trouble if that’s the case.
Have you watched the Youth team in the flesh this season?

Let’s hope not. I’m told he looks better with his clothes on.Top of the JES wrote: ↑Sat Mar 30, 2024 10:58 pmNonsense, we will almost certainly see Charlie Pegrum - Reon Smith Koussi and Possibly Maiki Welch in pre season for sure all very promising and probably a few others as we mix and match teams and squads in pre season.Hoover Attack wrote: ↑Sat Mar 30, 2024 8:01 pmI really hope not, we’re in big trouble if that’s the case.

Charlie Pegrum turns 20 this year, bit of a stretch including him in this discussion.Top of the JES wrote: ↑Sat Mar 30, 2024 10:58 pmNonsense, we will almost certainly see Charlie Pegrum - Reon Smith Koussi and Possibly Maiki Welch in pre season for sure all very promising and probably a few others as we mix and match teams and squads in pre season.Hoover Attack wrote: ↑Sat Mar 30, 2024 8:01 pmI really hope not, we’re in big trouble if that’s the case.

Maybe if we were still National League these boys would get a look in and have a future here. But thankfully we're not.

Still young enough to play in the youth team. So you haven’t watched them but have judged them anyway Classic Hoover.
Pop over and watch them you would be pleasantly surprised.

It’s a criticism of how we’re managing him.cockhat wrote: ↑Sun Mar 31, 2024 7:18 pmYou’re so complimentary and have an eye for ?Hoover Attack wrote: ↑Sun Mar 31, 2024 2:05 pm Is Pegrum really playing in the U18s? Absolute waste of everyone’s time.
If him and Obeiro want to be in and around the first team squad, there is no point them featuring as over age players in our U18s team.
